Worst Two Hundred Feet Tackled
Our lane out to the barn near Ravenswood runs a good quarter mile, but this year we only tackled the worst two hundred feet where the low spot never dries out. Twenty two tons of 3/4 inch crushed stone went down over that stretch, locking together nice and tight under the tractor and feed truck both. The tri-axle was out within a few days, and the driver dumped it in three piles so we could spread it with the loader.
